Orc, Mario, you guys got the door?

Okay, escort everyone to their seats as they come in.

Lady, is dinner all set?

Okay, the bar is open, but Darn it's taken a while to decorate! I wish we had an inventory for the L+F.

10 years ago, on the 28th of September, I didn't run. I should've, but it's hard to run in dress blues.

Jen, (AKA Lady's other Human) married Richard.

Then the minister got the right names in his hands, and after 20 minutes of someone in a white dress cutting off the circulation in my hands, we were married.

I thought we'd celebrate in here, because I'm working too damned many hours to do anything real.

So, everyone grab a glass of champagne, or a slushie, or an Irish, and help us celebrate 10 years of putting up with each other! :D

LH. I'll run into (and OUT of) the L & H and see what there is in the way of decorations. I'll grab the remote and Orc for protection. Just have a big slushie waiting or me!

What's Mario doing with that helium tank? Oh no! Orc, can you help me pull him off the ceiling? Phew that was close! Ok, let's PARTAY! We're also celebrating Slick's homecoming and healing.

Yup, I was there, and can attest to the fact that, on his first attempt, the pastor screwed up the groom's name! Second try, after considerable embarrassment, he got it right, and the rest, as they say, is history! And herstory, too! :)

Should the Slickster grace us with her presence (Slick grace us, not grace slick us) :p , she has a special spot next to the bar with a massage chair. All she has to do is let us know she wants to come, and we'll send Orc out to get her!

I'm going to have my usual Irish coffee witha flexoril chaser.

Sparks, one slushie, straight out of the seement mixer!

Maybe I'm the one who should have run! What are we having for dinner anyway? I need a very full glass of champagne! To 10 years of LH telling me how many years I have left before he trades me in for 2 20 year olds! :D

Everytime he reminds me that I married Richard I keep reminding him that it's his name on the marriage certificate. :p

There's one very special lady that I especially want to welcome back to PT and thursdays, Donna (moosmom). After her ordeal in the hospital, she deserves a huge slushie!

Thanks, today is the day! Officially 10 years today! Oh my God, I managed to make it through 10 years with LH and I haven't killed him yet! I must really love him.

Here's a breakfast buffet for everyone, eggs, bacon, sausage, a variety of toast, fruit, yogurt and cereal. And of course, I can't forget the coffee. :D

Happy Anniversary and I hope you both enjoy many, many more! I'll take some champagne with my breakfast - just this once, of course.

You kept it awfully quiet that you had married RICHARD though. It's a while since we had a good bit of scandal in the bar.

Cheers! :D

LH - the traditional gift for a 10th Anniversary is tin. The modern gift for a 10th Anniversary is aluminum.

LOH - you put in 10 long years and all you get is a tin cup? :D :D

Well to heck with the gifts, it has always seemed to me that both of you found the right partner.

So I raise my glass of champagne in your honor and say a hearty congratulations.

I think I'm going to have to get the breakfast bar ready by myself, so I'd better start cooking hashbrowns tonight, they're better when seasoned then re-fried.

I have to tell my chicken soup story here. While on vacation a few weeks ago, I was cooking and used some of TJ's chicken broth (in the carton) and put the rest back in the fridge. Monday morning first day back from vaca, sleepy me pulled a carton out of the fridge thinking it was soy milk and poured it on my cereal. At first I thought, Hmm. the soy milk must have settled, better shake it. So I shook it and poured some more on my cereal. It wasn't until I finally looked at the carton and realized I'd pulled the wrong carton. Chicken soup on Special K tastes YUKKY! So now I always double check the carton before I start to pour.

I'll have a Ma sized platter of whatever you're serving and a cuppa coffee!

Lady's Human
09-29-2006, 01:00 PM
Red, gotta watch them cartons, they can be sneaky!
