Well they have finally stopped chewing on it.... NOW THEY ARE DIGGING IN IT (my tree that is).!.!
I know Petsmart sells something that keeps cats out of house plants but I can't seem to find it on their web site. Every day I wake up there is dirt all over the floor where they were digging. http://216.40.201.38/cwm/cwm/eek7.gif
It vacuumes up real good but I WANT THEM TO QUIT DIGGING IN MY TREE!!!! Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do...
One thing that is real cute about it though is I always know who the culprit is... theY have dirt inbetween their paw pads and in their nose.... IT IS SOOOO CUTE!!!!

I can't really help you Sara. I got rid of all of my plants because Storm would dig them up too. I'm sure that someone here can help you. Good luck.

Sara, I don't know if it will look nice, but try tin foil paper. Or peals from citrus fruits, ours absolutely hate lemon or orange smell. I'm going to re-plant the cat grass today and I have to use tin foil paper, Kitty was digging the dirt already, makes a nice mess indeed! :(

Yes, what C&K said: tin-foil would work.;)

Sara. try placing some citrus rinds on the dirt, or perhaps you could squeeze out the rind juice and place that in the dirt around your indoor tree. You can use most any kind of citrus: oranges, grapefruit, lemons, etc. This should keep them out of the dirt.;)
