Shadow, master of Pet Zone

I started my new job at Pet Zone today! :D

I was there half an hour earlier than the manager (or co manager, I am not sure). I got let in and sat down to read a paper-type thing. Shadow, store cat of Pet Zone, walked over. He meowed low and long. Then, Shadow demanded that I pet him for a good ten minutes. Afterwards, he put his front paws on my leg and started to knead and give head bumpies. Then more petting. :p He's big (20 pounds or so) and sweet!

He does awfully well with all those birds, rats, mice, guinea pigs, and hamster around.

I think Soni smelled Shadow as he would not let me find him for an hour or so after I arrived home. :eek:

Haha! He does, too! :D

I think that the only reason he came out at all was because he could smell the fish that meowmie had been trying to catch for people all day. *shakes fist at cichlids* :D

AWWWW Shadow sounds like a real sweetheart of a cat. I don't know if I would get too much work done if I had a kitty like that around. :D

Hehe, it is hard to work when he's around. ;) I always have to stop and pet him and say hi. :D He seems to know when we're super busy though and goes and hangs out in the break room or on the lesser occupied side of the store. :D

I have to work tomorrow from 9 AM until 7 PM and I'll get to see Shadow! :D
