she's losing wieght and breathing heavier.. but she has no heartworms! we had her checked for heartworms last week!

her name is girlie, even though she came to us as a stary she is a purebred catahoula cur.. our state dog!! she is 10 years old.. she is losing wieghtand breathing heavy.. she's even growling at her daughter three yr old amy..

Sometimes doggies growl when they're not feeling well:( I'm sure that's why Girlie is a little upset right now. I'm thinking of your sweet Girlie, and sending her my prayers and love.

THANKS.. GIRLIE SENDS HER LOVE.. SHE'S BEEN LYING DOWN ALOT TODAY AND SI NOT HER USAL ACTIVE SELF :( HMMMMM..
MAYBE IT'S TIME FOR A TRIP TO THE VET..

Mel, Girlie is in my thoughts and prayers. I think it would be best to take her to the vet and have them check her our. Hopefuly, they will be able to give you some kind of news on her health.

I hope you get good news too. Maybe the vet can figure out what is bothering Girlie and have her feeling better in no time. I'm glad you're taking her in. :) We'll keep her in our prayers. Let us know what happens.

WOW am I relieved and I know that you are too!. With everything that went on not to long ago with Aunt Jazz and it ending up being Cancer, I tend to worry a little more. I was praying for your Girlie and I'm glad she can take meds to feel better. ;) Thanks for keeping us updated.
