I've decided to co-breed with Marla under the same name. So instead of Uniquity I'll be Attra Dea (Attra Day-uh). This will be nice because we'd obviously give eachother puppies or stud services whenever needed --- except now they will all be under the same kennel name.
So I'm now thinking of naming my puppy "Sweet Uniquity" not only in memory of my short-lived kennel name, but because my puppy certainly is unique, being the only one out of the breeding (and it's doubtful Visa will be bred to Karma again).
Solo is now just over a pound. He's gained 5 ounces since being born. Visa is producing just enough milk for him, so she isn't likely to get mastitis. Solo is already getting a lesson in not making noise lol. Any time he makes a noise, Visa has a fit. She becomes very aggitated and gets up and turns in circles in the crate, so basically she will stop cleaning or nursing him if he makes any noise. I hope this will cause a lasting effect lol. There is nothing worse than a barking Belgian.
I can bring him home anytime since he has no siblings he needs to socialise with before 8 weeks. I'm bringing Visa home when he's four weeks so she'll have some time to cool off after being an incredibly frantic mother. Then I'd like to wait a couple of weeks, give him some more time to be around the chaos of Marla's crazy house, before bringing him home.
And in other news...lol. We've made plans with a breeder to import us a female groen puppy from Belgium. Probably not for the next few years, Marla is keeping a puppy from either Jag's or Visa's litter next year, and I'll have my pup from the VisaXDillon 2008 litter, not to mention the constant outflow of fosters (I'm expecting more kitties soon and I already got attached and kept one of the last ones, dangit ) so we'll be full on dogs for a while.
Anyways, pictures of Loki. He has his first show coming up in a couple of weeks! He should do very well, he's a very striking boy. He's also starting his rally-o classes next week and will get on sheep soon.
