Do U Think She Is To Skinny?

Jessika

I would say yes because you can easily see her ribs. It would be easier to tell though if you took a picture of her from above. It just seems her ribs are sticking out too far, she should have a little more meat covering them. Otherwise she looks happy and healthy :)

If you're feeding her and she just doesn't gain any weight, up the portion. If she still isn't gaining weight make sure she has no internal parasites.

Is she still a puppy. If so she should still have some puppy fat on her. I would up her portion of food and get her on some good suppliments. She looks definately like she is not starving or any thing.

Yes,I think she's on the thin side, just because her ribs are prominent. How much are you feeding her and how many times a day? I would say give her move food to help her gain weight, and like Jessika said, make sure she has no parasites.
She is a very pretty girl, i love her colouring! :)

She is a beautiful dog. I think I read somewhere that you feed her only
once a day? Puppies usually eat three meals a day.

She Is Still A Pup, She Is A Boxer. The Vet Said I Should Be Able To See Her Ribs Some I Just Dont Know How Much. I Feed Her 1 Cup 2 Times A Day 2 Cups Total I Was Feeding Her 1 1/2 A Day Which Is What The Vet Said To Feed Her But I Have Upped It The Last Couple Days. I WAS FEEDING HER A LOT AND SHE JUST POOED ALL OVER THE PLACE. MY BROTHER IN LAW SAID I WAS FEEDING HER TO MUCH AND WHEN I STARTED GIVING HER THE RECOMMENDED AMOUNT SHE HAS QUIT POOING SO MUCH AND SHE WAS THIN LOOKING THEN TO.

What Brand of food are you feeding her?She is thin,But so is my 6 month old Border Collie But some border collies are that way,He does not have ribs showing but i am also concerned on how he looks.Boxers are not chubby dogs by anymeans but they do look bulky,I would feed her a bit more and again Which Puppy Food do you have her on?

Our 9 month old Great Dane, Bailey, looked the same as Daisy for months. You can still count his ribs, and he eats almost 5 pounds of raw meat per day!

I Feed Her Purina Puppy Chow About 2 Cups A Day. And As Far As Being Bulky She Is Only 9 Weeks Old So She Hasnt Had Time To Get Bulky Yet I Think Its Just Cause She Plays And Runs So Much. Last Week The Vet Said She Was Perfecly Proportioned And I Have To Take Her Back Next Week So Ill Let U All Know What She Says Then But I Still Would Like Everyones Opinion.

Purina Puppy chow is a very low-quality food and its not doing any good for her.If its giving her diarrhea,i would highly recommend you switch her food. Its full of by-products and stuff she doesnt need. I would recommend you switch to a better quality dog food. Something like Nutro Natural Choice is a great food (its what i feed my 2). You will see a difference, especially with her poop.
Do you have feed stores near you? They usually carry dogfood also.

No She Is Pooping Fine Now I Was Just Pooring A Lot Of Food Out And Leaving It And She Was Over Eating. The Vet Suggested Scientific Diet Dog Food Have U Heard Of It? I Cant Find Nutro Around Here Unless The Vet Has It I Live In A Very Very Small Town

Science Diet, perhaps? I don't recommend that food, either.

You can find stores that sell nutro in your area by checking out the store locater on their website, http://nutroproducts.com

I'm not sure about her weight and all, but I do know that she's an absolute doll. I LOVE her coloring. Such a pretty girl. Give her a kiss for me? ;) :D

She doesn't seem extremely underweight to me. My boy looked like that for a long time, until he was about a year old; however, I would feed her three times a day, 1 cup at a time. Puppies usually need to eat three times a day until they are about 4-5 months, some a little younger, but if you are only feeding her twice a day the 1-1/2 cups sounds right. The reason she is pooping so much is because Puppy Chow is full of a lot of fillers, which just makes more poop, not more nutrition. Find the best food you can find locally and use that. Boxers though do tend to look underfed for the first year of their life, mostly because of their body shape and large rib cage. I do think she needs a little more food but you'd actually be better off finding a little bit better food if you can. Try looking at feed stores, rather than pet or grocery stores, the often carry or can order, a better food like canidae, chicken soupe, or quite a few others. She will need to eat less and will poop less just because there are less fillers. She sure is adorable!

I think she does need a better quilty food . But I Just know what worked for Tyson.he was an abused dog when he was rescued he responded well to Purina one for puppys (I know most of you don't like it but thats what worked ok) I know feed him a food I order from my own busisness (any one wants to know PM me) I'am adding pictures of before when I just got him and after a while . Hewas about 6-8 months old before and a year in the after I have only had him since Feb. But as Vela says they do tend to be ribby as teens which yours is starting. He is at ideal weight of 60 pounds

wow she sure is a pretty girl :) i'm not an expert by any means but her ribs seem a little too prominent, but like i said i am not an expert.

i feed my puppy purina beneful http://www.purina.ca/products/beneful/default.asp?page=growth

she has filled out very well on this food and it seems to be pretty good, but after reading on the nutra max website i am going to switch her to their brand of food. i just want the very best for my girl, and this food seems to have ingredients to address some issues that i have started to notice with her.

like slightly dry ( but very shiny) coat and flea irritation.
nutroproducts has brewers yeast and b vitamins which are recommended for these problems, so thats nice.
