Tiny bubbles ..... Way back when, a LONG time ago, back in the day when I would fly to Hawaii at the drop of a hat (had money back then), I DID get to party with Mr. Ho .... although I don't remember too much about the evening, except flirting with him in his dressing room. Too many tiny bubbles for me that night :p I think I had fun :cool:

Just a spot o' tea for me this afternoon - I have work to do! :D

Oh great, the bar is open. Don Ho??? I went to Hawaii with my parents :rolleyes: in 1971. I was too young to drink and had no one to hang out with. It was the worst vacation of my life. But we did get to see The Don and join in on the sing-along......

Again, two strange things that happened to me today..On the way to work this morning I came up upon a truck with live pigs on the Golden State Freeway.

I was in my brother's truck, On the way home I pushed the tape into the deck and "when the levee breaks" was the song that came on... :eek: :confused:

We can do the cadence as we dig! :D

Okey dokey smokey... speaking of smokey, those are some fine coals you guys have going in that fire pit! Let's not do the whole piggy thing, Richard, leave those freeway pigs alone - that's rather ooky looking if you ask me :rolleyes: But a nice braised pork roast with cinnamon, clove and toasted corriander sounds nice aaaaand I just happen to have one I've been braising since yesterday. Taro root is a bit hard to find around here but sweet taters (or yams if you wish) make a nice substitute as a side dish. OK, that's for later on - actually have *shudders* work to do this a.m. Good thing I started the food last night. Strong coffee and some fresh melon for breakfast if you please ~ anybody?? Anyone else awake??

Tomorrow should be fun at my office as I'm taking next week off for some much needed R&R - not going anywhere, just sleeping, have some medical appointments, do some much-needed housework, and generally just be a bump in the bed for a week - sounds like heaven, doesn't it? One Blue Hawaii, please, but hold the blue stuff :p

My "friend" and I are thinking of going and this being San Francisco, it's only fitting that the audience also dresses <ahem> appropriately :rolleyes: :p Tomorrow night's theme is "Cheerleaders & Jocks" and Saturday night it's "Pimps & Porn Stars" Chris keeps saying he wants to be a porn star, so I have to put together my outfit :cool: I know the clientèle here at Thursdays will help, right? :D Just what does a female pimp wear? :confused:

So this is the L+F. Are you guys in here? I wanted to duck before the marshmellow flinging started again. Sorry I haven't been around but it's been a lot of work chasing little AxelNo around, he's been a handful lately. We've reached the climbing stage and anything we can get a hand or foot hold on we climb. I've had to vacuum the changing table twice now because he got into the baby powder.

Needless to say I've been just a little busy. :)

I need a LARGE something, and it has to be virtual, because I'm also on muscle relaxants for spasms. This week, needless to say, has sucked.

I have a collection of <ahem> costumes and was amazed to find that an old hooker dress still fits - so the dress (what there is of it ;) ) black fishnets, patent leather HIGH heel pumps, a leopard trimmed wrap - slutty makeup, fluffy hair .... and Chris just called to let me know he's ready - LOL! The show doesn't start for another two hours and we're not leaving for a half an hour. I WILL take pictures! Not sure if I'll post them but I will take some :D :p

Tsk tsk. Thursdays talking about me behind my back, eh? Yes we did get in past 1:00 a.m. It was a very fun evening, although we didn't win the costume contest, we did have a good time.

Danged men - Chris was so full of himself all pimped out that he only took ONE picture of me and it's not too risqué. I'm just getting up, but will upload later.

The show was hilarious and very well done. I was disappointed that more people in the audience didn't come dressed up - those of us who did looked mahvelous. Of course there were the requisite San Francisco guys in drag.
