Dogs Eyes Red

My dashound has red eyes really bad...Looks almost like pink eye..I have 2 smaller children and I was wondering if I could use the same drops for his eyes...

I'd call your vet as ask him about the spacific kind of eye drops.

No. Until you get to the Vet you could use straight saline solution that us contact lense users partake of everyday. The idea would be to keep diluting and keep the eye from getting too dry. But again get to the Vet very soon.

The danger of using some other drops is that it might have an anti-inflammatory in it that would further suppress the dog's immune system against a potential bacterial infection. Or it might contain another ingredient that doesn't do well for a dog.
