It's only stealing if you claim them as your own, correct?

Then again different people have different copyright on their pictures. Some care because its "stealing bandwidth" from their domain that they pay for, others can care less so... to be safe I would just link to the site with the images. Hehe

Oh gotcha, yeah that's more of a bandwidth issue than anything else, in reference to this thread. That's why I recommend saving images to a photobucket or something and linking to that, so that way you aren't stealing bandwidth from anyone. :)

((then again if someone did not want their images direct-linked then they should disable hotlinking from their domain and nobody would be able to, like tripod and geocities do so its essentially their own fault if that makes sense!!))
