View Full Version : Maggie's Had A Bad Day Today

Started off normally with a routine Vet weight check & refill for her throid
pills. She didn't lose ANY weight since last month. :( Then, this afternoon
she got a bee sting in her paw & back to the Vet again. I went because she
couln't put any weight on the foot & seemed to be hyperventiating. Doc said
she had an allergic reaction to the sting & she got a shot & some pills to take
for a few more days. Poor baby. :(

So sorry that you've had a "ruff" day with Maggie, Liz. Give that beautiful girl (and he ever so handsome brother, Smokey) hugs from me! Let us know how the sting is.

Ohhh, That poor little Baby.

I'm so glad that Maggie is doing alright and soooo sorry that she had such a nasty thing happen. Darn, those nasty bees!!!! :(

Maggie is doing very well thanks. :) One thing about the accident,
at least now I know how allergic she is to stings.

Praying that Maggie is feeling better today, Liz.
Y'know, this brought back memories of Cody jumping up and trying to catch bees. Well, his luck ran out oine day, apparently, because he started to hyperventilate and pace. I took him to the vet and he was given antibiotics because stupid me, never mentioned or thought about the bees at that time. After a day of no relief, and giving myself a smack across my own head, another vet visit, a shot and pills, he was fine.
So I know how you felt. It's really scary. Lots of hugs on both of you...
