Update On Duffy

With so many pups being sick right now, I thought I would bring you some good news for a change.
Duffy had his first shot of chemotherapy and the lumps in his neck have diminished in size. The latest blood test it's fine, the vet is very encouraged about the chances for remission. Susan started the oral chemo yesterday; she is also hopeful that the goofy Mr. D will stay around for many more years.

That word "remission" is a great thing to hear! So happy that Duffy may have turned the corner on this. I'll bet his human is overjoyed at the news!! :D

Albea, this is GREAT news!!:) Susan must be so relieved!! I think of Duffy often; his picture is in our prayer book. Please tell Susan that some distant friends are SO happy for her. And of course, please send along some big hugs from us! Way to go Duffy!!:)
