I happened to stumble on this bit of info.

Freeze water in a soda bottle and place it in with the bunny. Mine love the bottles and it must have been a wonderful relief for them having spent hours in the humidity and heat yesterday. They went right up to the bottles and planted themselves next to it (them). It was so cute. I also placed a fan facing in to their pen, so the air will circulate better. By the way, they are in a fenced in area of a screened in, protected (2nd floor) porch. They have a 10'x 12' area all to themselves, so don't feel toooooo sorry for them! They have a cage but only get to experience being confined when I am cleaning their pen area and they are in the way. I take them outside (fenced again).....every so often to chew on grass and get some real sunshine......while I clean the pen at other times.

So keep your pets and bunnies cool this summer. This concept may work with other pets too, don't know.

My cats love the heat and spend most of their time outside on the porch. Go figure. I prefer the A/C!
