I am a bit bored, yup ;)
With this heatwave, it is almost to hot to fall asleep. The easiest thing would be to sleep on the bed, without covers; but I simply cannot stand that.... . No matter the trmperature, I always want "something" on me, like a thin cotton sheet.
How about you??

I have a top sheet to put over me if the air conditioning gets too cool, but I usually don't start with it over me as it is too warm. Because the cats want to come and go as they please, I cannot shut the bedroom door. So the windo air conditoning unit doesn't make the room COLD....just cool.

i have to sleep covered also  i usually keep my house pretty cold at night so i'll use a sheet and a blanket, sometimes just a sheet
I have a mink blanket that I use. I do boil under it, but I HAVE to have a blanket, I cannot sleep without and real blanket, I cant sleep with just a sheet or light blanket no matter how hot it is.

There is a bottom sheet, top sheet, and comforter as my husband absolutely must sleep with something on him, too. I just don't cover up. :D

I cab't sleep without a blanket of some sort, I have no idea why, I just can't. I have a fleece sort of blanket (I think its fleece anyway, but I'm not sure as it looks different than most fleece things) that I use when its really hot. I just suffer through the heat.

I must have something over me, it's usually a thin summer duvet, but if it's really hot, then I just use a duvet cover. Sometimes I even have to "put up with" Fister cuddling up to me. ;) :D

I chose "other" because there is always at least one dog and one or two cats. We share the nest with a sheet and a light flannel cover to begin with, then - who knows? By morning it's anyones guess :D It's funny but sometimes if I waken in the middle of the night I find myself having to schooch up the top of the bed so I don't disturb the critters lying on either side of me
Just a sheet for me too. We set the a/c at a much higher temperature at night than during the day to save money. If it is REALLY hot the dogs don't even want to sleep next to me! :p
Bill Cosby once mentioned the need to sleep with a sheet in one of his comedy routines. He said with him it dates back to his childhood and the childhood fear of monsters. He felt that if he was under a sheet it provided protection. :D I always remembered this because I sort of felt the same way when I was little. My sheet was good protection from things that go bump in the night. :D

I'm the same. I like a cotton sheet at least over some of me as protection against any axe-murders that happen to be loose in my house. :D

Just a light blanket/quilt and Frisk. He gives off plenty of warmth, but our house always stays cool during the summer.

I like it cold with a lot of blankets. With the air conditioning on and the ceiling fan going I always sleep under the sheet, quilt, a down throw, and a microfiber throw. It's actually not the warmth of the blankets that I like, it's the weight of them.
If the power is out in the summer and it's really hot I still sleep under a sheet. I have to have something over me.

A sheet (have to sleep with something over me), a dog, a cat, occasionally a child.

I like something over me too, so I have a light throw. I do have the A/C on, but due to electrical rates, not as low as I'd like or the dogs either. I notice they've all deserted the bed for the cool ceramic tile in the bathroom. Thank goodness I went with Smoothies. Rough Collies would be so miserable here now.

I also have to have a cover on me to sleep - I don't keep the A/C on as high as I'd like because it gets so expensive, so sometimes I only use a sheet, but as of now it still has a sheet and our microfiber comforter
just a sheet. Beanie keeps me warm. i say he keeps me warm because i leave my window unit on all night for the sibes. it's right over my bed so it blows right on me. i'd much rather be freezing that have Gracie or Ocean be uncomfortable.

I like to use a sheet and cotton comforter to cover up with.I do like it
cool when I sleep. AC is one of the greatest inventions of our time. :D
Smokey always sleeps at the foot of the bed & Maggie loves to sleep on
the cool wooden floor or directly on the air vent in the living room.
P.S. The kitties are persona non grata in the room at bedtime. They can't
seem to do without a 3 am round of tag. :)

I only have one blanket on my bed unless I'm cold, then I get a fleece blanket. I use a fan with the comforter-like blanket durring the summer.

I start out with a thin sheet on me but after about oh a minute or so I end up throwing it off of me. My boyfriend likes to be covered though. It works out well because we never fight over the blankets. lol

I have to sleep at least partially covered and I prefer the fabric to be lightweight & similar to a sheet material. I have a thin light weight sheet type comforter that I somethimes use, if not I use a sheet.

cotton sheets, top sheet with a thin cotton quilt!! (homemade of course) ;)

My room gets really cold at night so I have many blankets on top of me.
Starting from the matress and working your way up I have: a sheet, a blanket that covers my legs, then the comforter that is usually folded back halfway, and on top of that a thin blanket that I can ust to keep my upper body warm.
I've been sleeping like that for most of the summer, and never do I feel hot. We but the AC on around 70* at night, and my room is always cool so it gets even colder! No wonder the dogs always sleep in my room. lol.
