I rarely have pictures to show of Norri, and while I had the chance, I took some. :D
Some of you all know Melani got ahold of him the other day. He is still doing fine. Eating, drinking, etc. etc. He seems just the same except he can't fly good at all. He's improvising, though.

I'm keeping his feathers, since they're in relatively nice shape. I'm not sure what I'll end up doing with them, but I'll think of something.

And the handsome boy himself. He looks much like a chicken when he stretches, so his new nickname is "the little chicken" ^__^ NEVER call him Chicken Little... he hates that.

Norri is starting to open up to me! :D Today, he let me touch his feet for the first time (for those who don't know, he isn't tame), and he didn't mind my hand being close to him. He continues to let me pet his feet, so hopefully he'll continue to warm up to me.
He has also found a new favorite song. ^__^ He tends to respond differently to different songs, as I have music playing almost constantly. Well, when I play "Crazy B*tch" by Buckcherry, he will chirp along in his happy tone. Its cute!
Anyway, I just wanted to update you all.

Budgies can learn to talk but in high voices.Budgies were voted in Bird Talk magazine as the second best talking birds after the grey. :)

Wow, I knew they could be taught to talk, but I never thought much of it. I aways heard that the hand-raised ones were more likely to learn.

he is really pretty. i miss having my budgies around. they are such a delight to have around. i'm glad he's doing well after the attack.

For those tailfeathers what I would do is paint a picture of him and add the tail feathers too it I have done it many times it looks great.

Really cute. I think white birds look the best, you can see all of the detail.
