 On FOX news this morning they ran a story about the heat in Southern California.

It was 119 degrees right up the street on Saturday......Bloody hot..

So, There is a shot of the beach and the caption says...

Pasadena California....

One problem......Pasadena is about 25 miles away from the beach.....

They then cut to a shot of the electric sign out side of the school I went to.

It's one of those boards that tells you the vital school info, the time and temperature....The Fighting Parrots of JH Francis Polytechnic High School get some national TV Time...

FIGHTING PARROTS? What the hell were they thinking?

That was a little closer to the beach.......not much, but closer...

So, somehow the news has failed to tell us that-

The west coast of So Cal has melted into the sea, there was a massive tectonic plate shift overnight, earthquake or those pesky Pasadeneans have revolted, taken over the city, renamed it and now I have to fill out those CHANGE OF ADDRESS FORMS.....

And in typical media fashion...not a word of it on the tube....  :o

Quit watching the news if it bothers you that much. WAS THE TEMPERATURE IN PASADENA (PROPER) DRAMATICALLY DIFFERENT???
Like it was really FA-REEEEEZIN' at the BEACH and Pasadena was like, 119º!!!
