Don Juan's mom

Today, I went off to work only after I put on the air conditioner with the thermostat up high (so it would come on if it got very hot). Don Juan and Zerlina also got Brita pitcher water in ALL their water dishes, with ice cubes.
Then I went off to work at a place where the A/C is kept at 78 degrees F., to save on energy costs. Had a fine coating of dew on my face all day.
:p Feels like a Philadelphia summer out here in the Bay Area... and that's the ONLY thing I don't miss about my hometown.
Did I mention that we are also asked to conserve water?

The great thing about being asked to conserve is that all Government Offices are really cool, about 55, have bottled water, and the lights are blazing 24/7.
But we should conserve!
They should go to hell.

:D :D :D Ain't it the truth!!!!!
Oh, but get this, our Governor here has made it manditory that all State Workers turn their computers off at the end of the day to conserve energy!!!!
Wow, I could just hit myself in the forehead for not thinking of that!!! :D
Oh, by the way, my grand dogs are spoiled as well, plenty of Brita filtered ice cold water with ice cubes.

Well, I USED to put ice cubes in the cats water dish until, Chester, my water baby started pulling it out and shot putting it across the floor. Got tired of the mess, so they must make do with cold water from the fridge! :D

Well I'm trying to spoil my cats in this heat and put ice cubes in their Brita filtered water bowls and in the bathtub for Mishi to play with. They're both looking at me like I'm nuts.
