For some reason, last night my back started to hurt (lower back) and it is hurting again now. It almost feels like stomach cramps but in my lower back. I know that sounds wierd lol but thats the best way to describe it.

anyone else ever get this? How did you make it go away?

I get something similar from time to time and a heat treatment with a somewhat heavy heating pad works great for me. I have a microwavable one filled with beans or someother kind of grain I think and I love it.

The fact that it smells like popcorn when warm is a big bonus.

You described the very same symtoms I had quite a few years ago.

Me and my husband transported lime chips in our pick-up, 3 loads.

I helped shovel the lime chips into the back of our truck.

My abdomin felt so bruised, and my lower back pain was tremendous.

I took anti-inflammatory medicine, ( over the counter pain reliever) , and used hot packs, 20 minutes with each application. Laying down on the floor with my legs over the coffee table helped as well.

Does it hurt in the lower side of your back? Does it hurt if you lay down on a certain side? If so, you may have a kidney infection. I've had them twice, they are NOT fun! Please reach a doctor right away if it continues to bother you. If it is a kidney infection, they will give your antibiotics. Get plenty of naps/rest, and drink lots and lots of fluids, particularly cranberry juice, orange juice, and water. The more fluids you get in your system, the better. They will help flush out your infection. Lots of good thoughts coming your way!

yeah it's more my lower left side. It doesn't hurt if I lay on it but if I move a certain way I get this stabbing pain.

I definately get lots of sleep :D and I have been drinking nothing but water and juice all day so hopefully that helps.

I don't think it is regular back pain because I just cleaned the house and it doesn't hurt any worse then it did before and I did a lot of vaccuuming lol.

If it is bugging me tomorrow I will go to the Dr.

Thanks :D

LOL Dorothy it's ok :D It was good advice anyway.

My back started bugging me last night while I was at my hubby's hockey game. I thought maybe it was just from sitting on a cold bench but then it didn't go away this morning and I'm warm now haha.

I did go to my chiropractor yesterday but he mostly works on my neck and only uses the massager on my lower back so I don't know if that was it or not. I go twice a week and it never bothered me before. I will ask him on Friday about it.
