Just came back from the doc and I'm off work the rest of the week and only working 1/2 days next week. I'm happy about that. It's a good thing I cancelled my trip because I'd be too sick to enjoy myself. :( :(

Can I just plop down on the couch and enjoy a cyber slushie?

YAY it's thursday again! Ok I brought a case of whiskey and of course mounds of macaroni salad (helps fatten up the step son)the salad not the whiskey hehehehe Just went through a storm here in alton Il with 80 mile winds lots of power outs (not us thank the universe) we are all fine. So may I have a whiskey &7 and the hubby will join us when he remembers a CLEAN joke :rolleyes:

Hello everyone! I brought the watermelon!

I guess I'm supposed to tell a clean joke... How embarassing, but here goes...

A rabbi, a priest and a televangelist are talking one day about how they decide how much money from the tithes and offerings they keep for their salary. The rabbi says, "The Torah says that 10% goes to those in service to God, so I keep 10% of what we bring in."
The priest says, "My salary is voted by the parish council, which usually comes out to about 10%, so that's what I keep."
The televangelist says, "Well, my friends, I take all the money we bring in an throw it all up in the air, and whatever God wants, He keeps."

I know, it's old, everyone has heard it and I probably messed it up, but, hey, they didn't call me Bad Joke Bill when I was a kid for nothing!

How about a DLC got to paint the grandbabies room tomorrow so i'd better stay sober.
Also have to write up a proposal for at job at work, a community relations job.Hope I get it i love thie kind of stuff it requires.
Hope to enjoy the BBQ via cyber space I intend to be there next year.
Welcome to Dr.goodnow's hubby , my hubby finally joined a couple months ago. Dugansdad he doesn't post much but reads most all the threads.

I have never been able to tell this on in the company of a doc, let alone two....

I was waiting for an elevator in the hospital with two surgeons.

The car came and as I treid to get past the two docs, the door started to close....

The man closest to the doors jammed his head between....
the doors bounce off his skull and we entered..

The second surgeon was aghast and asked the first one, "Why did you do that?"

The first surgeon said, "I need my hands to operate!" :confused:

Ba dump.....

Some reason I never thought to take pictures but I guess I will. Duh just want to get it done so they can move in , it's and older moble home so they are remodeling it. got the first half done and blocking off the rest of the place so the baby doesn't get in to the remodel.
Still looking for carpets hoping hubby has enough wood flooring left over soon from jobs to do one in Charity's room (cleaner less allergy possiblites.)
Hope you all enjoy the BBQ , got to go and get ready.

Actually I'm not "sick" sick... I ended up with another animal bite IT WASN'T HIS FAULT!! and although it alone wasn't bad I developed a massive infection within 12 hours :eek: and had to spend a day and a night in the hospital hooked up to an IV with the bags of antibiotic dripping into me. Too bad I didn't have a computer or I could have called Thursdays and put a slushie in the bag instead :p

Laurie, if we had known we could have swamped the hospital with calls so they substituted slushies for antibiotics. Slushies probably would have worked better anyway. ;) Glad the infection is clearing up.

Moosmom and sparks - 5:00?!?!???? Happy hour starts at noon around here. Wouldn't know what to do with myself if it started at 5! ;)

Thanks the best part is i now amy going to be sitting for my granddaughter so I can do alot of the work from home. I only have to show up 3 days a week for 6 hours each day. YAhoo.
Cheerios and Beer oh man we have to get this monkey into rehab.

I need a large anything, as long as it has plenty of alcomohol in it! Work (both civilian and military) has been hell. Tomorrow is my second day off in the month of July. I would be working, but I requested a day of vaca. Why? So LOH can go to the circus (NASCAR race at Pocono) and I get to stay home with the kids! :D
