The butterfly is beautiful! :)
I have Kai and Kae's paw prints and names tattooed onto my arm. I plan on getting every future dog's paw print and name tattooed on my arm.

It faded slightly because I ended up healing not so well (despite following instructions). My body just never seems to heal piercings or tattoos well. :\ I'm supposed to go for a touch up in a couple weeks.

How old do you have to be to get a Tattto?
I plan on making my own if I do get one since Im a good artist I love Native Indian things so Ill probably go with a feather or dreamcatcher but it shall be SMALL so its less pain. :o

Unsupervised? 18, I believe. But you can get it earlier with your parent's permission. :)
Beautiful tattoos. :D
I'll get my first one on my 16th birthday (a year from now) as a present from my mum^^. No idea where at.. but I have many ideas on what I might want. I do want it to have some meaning behind it.
My father is highly against tattoos, he calls them "Tramp stamps". :o Either way, my sister got one this past year. It was basically one of those "rebel" tattoos, her way of showing mum and dad that she can do what she wants now that she's 18 (or rather 19 as of today).

Some kind of aquatic turtle on her ankle.

I got my first one when I was 14 turning 15 in 2 weeks though. But we knew the guy pretty well seeing as hes done all my peircings so he let me in.
My second one was at the place my dad gose and hes really good freinds with the owner. So he also let me slip cause I was only 15. I think now I can get it done with parent signature any place.
I'm currentyl saving for a new one and deciding.
Chilli I cant wait to see yours when you get it:D

In Canada, there aren't any laws concerning ages to get tattoos or piercings so it's up to the shop. The reputable shops here require that you're 18+. Some will let you get one if you have a parent's permission. There are a couple (sketchy) places that'll tattoo you at 16 or under. I haven't got a clue about America though.

LOL! I refer to those lower back "tribal" *coughNOTtribal* tattoos as "tramp stamps" :p

Nice tats everyone :). I have none yet, but im currently saving up to get 4 small paw prints around my wrist with the 3 dogs and kitty's first letter of their names in them. Each animal will have their own colour ;). As the years go by i will obviously add to this.

Here's mine, I got it about 3 weeks ago. It's a Taurus symbol, its on my upper back off to the right by my shoulder. I'm planning on getting another one sometime soon, probably the chinese symbol for rabbit. :D

No tattoos for me, I don't do pain for fashion's sake. I pretty much don't "do" fashion anyway! I never got my ears pierced for the same reason, even though I worked at an ear-piercing place for a while. I either wore magnetic earrings, or had my hair covering my ears so people wouldn't freak out at an unpierced person piercing THEIR ears. I can just imagine the the conversation:
"OMG, why aren't your ears pierced? It must REALLY hurt, huh?"
"Nah, I just think it's dumb to punch holes in your body to hang metal objects from 'em." - would hardly be the approved company sales line!
There are metal allergies in my family, and I have ridiculously sensitive skin anyway, so it would just be a bad idea - I would probably end up hospitalized from being allergic to the ink or something.

I'm metal sensitive too. My tat is just fine :) I was worried tho. But they say most people that are metal sens do fine with tats. I thought mine was goingto hurt worse than it did. But I was good. And it didn't take long to heal enough to lay on it. I'm wanting another

I'm currently planning/saving for a tattoo. I'm guessing it will happen sometime before Christmas. I'm going for Hebrew writing, for sure, but haven't decided on the phrase.
I can just hear you guys saying, "Are you stupid? Didn't Britney get a Hebrew tat and screw it up?" My hubby has already taken 1 semester of Hebrew, and is taking another next year. I thought I'd ask his Hebrew teacher to spell check:)

Ya those tatoo's are realt perdy but I think ill stick with natural.
My friend was thinking of getting a pericing on her lip but then I told her it can give her heart problems if not treated often and then she took that idea out of her head lol.
What is realt cool is thoes tatoos that can stay on for like a month there so awsome and you dont have to have the same one all the time you can change it and make your own.
I might get a kit. :D

The media also says that Pit Bulls are vicious monsters. ;)
I don't have any solid proof but I have more than enough personal experience. I have 16 piercings.. three tongue and two lip piercings. I've had them for years and have had no heart problems. I'm friends with piercers and other modified people who have had their piercings longer than I have, and none of them have ever had heart problems due to oral piercings.

Do NOT believe evrything you see in print!
Anything that breaks the skin can get infected, and in rare cases, an infection can get into your blood, and other organs, but it is rare. Extremely rare. And no more true of facial piercings than stepping on a sharp stick.

I have a lip peircing my under eye tounge belly button and nose and I also have no problems..thats like saying you can have heart problems from getting your ears peirced lol not true.
If that was tha case you would see all those "emo" kids having heart problems cause most have a side lip ring or snake bites and it would be all over the news.

Some of you may have already seen my new tattoo, I posted it last week. I am 40 yrs old and this is my first and probably last one. I may eventually go and have my twin brothers initials put on either side of the top of the cross, he passed away 23 years ago.

I would like a tat. but it would have to be drawn by me. I just don't know what to get.. also cannot afford one yet, so i still have sometime to think it over hehe If I get a symbol, it'll be of a Leo & I'll be getting it deep so it'll be raised.. I LOVE the one my guy has.. its a black on black outline of a dragon & its all raised.. its really neat! Its by FAR the best one I've ever seen!

Pictures????:)
I don't have a photo of it :(
When I get to know him better I'm sure I can snap a few pics of him & it might make it into the photo.. Well if he ever takes his shirts off ;) as he has a long sleeved t-shirt on (the ones with buttons on the front), & a vest ontop of that, & an undershirt under all that  I don't know how he can wear all that & not BBQ in this heat!
But right now its a no go (as in I wont ask) as I don't know him all that well.
If you come to the zoo with me I'll try to drag (I'm sure he'll go) him with me & then you can see the tat in person. Its soo cool to see & touch! <-- if you can reach that high HAHAHA!

Here's the paw prints that go up my leg and you can see the corner of the wing of my dragon in the first pic. I don't have any pics of that one or the one on my arm at the moment. I'll try to remember to get some pics of them though.
