Odie, gone at the vets at age 18. :( He got a huge pus filled ball over his eye and couldn't see. The ball had been drained many times, but it just kept comming back larger and larger than the previous ball. :( :(

He belonged to my grandmother, and I feel really guilty because a few weeks before she had him put down I had come over for a visit with my dog, Jenny came into the house unexpectedly and I think she really scared Odie. Jenny didn't visit Odie very much, so they didn't know each other well enough not to attack one another.

Good Luck to Odie's predessesor, ( if that is the right word ) Tripod, who she adopted from the local OSPCA. Tripod was abused and only had three legs. My grandma said " no one would have wanted him." So, being a animal lover, my grandmother brought him home, he has settled in well and gets along extremely well on three legs. She got him for free because no one wanted him.

I'm sorry about your grandmother's cat. :( But that is wonderful news that she adopted Tripod. Your grandma is right, special needs cats like Tripod have a slim to none chance of being adopted.

RIP Odie.

Have a wonderful furrrever life, Tripod!

recentally, though I found out cats like tripod are more likely to be adopted because people feel sorry for them. ( people like my grandmother ;) ) She said she's going to get another cat to keep it company. :)
