I was going to post this on Ralph Syracuse's thread, but after reading ALL the threads about our dear cats that have gone to the Bridge recently, I thought I would post it for all to see!!!

MY SPECIAL FRIEND

What will I do without you
My precious furry friend?
Part mischief, but all blessing,'
and faithful to the end.

I think your greatest joy in life
was being close to me.
Perhaps God knew how conforting
Your warm soft fur would be.

A few short years
Are all we had,
And then we had to part.
But you, my cat
Will always have
A special place within my heart!

thank you sandra. I really like this little poem. I usually don't like much of poem but this one certainly is special for me too. it reminds me a lot of my miles! mischeif.. oh how I miss this mischevious lion. :(
