Mini Dauchshund is sooooo whiney lately!

Lots of drama going on in our life, but then it's always alot of drama. But lately she is sooooo needy and whiney. She may be ready to go into heat again. I need to get her fixed but do not have any funds. Can someone direct me to where I can get her fixed for a discount in San Francisco?

It probably is because she's in heat. There is usually SPCA's that will do it for free or a discount if you are short on money. You should look for shelters near your area and see how much it costs to do it there. Sorry, not much help. Good luck on finding a place to spay her.

The humane society in San Mateo charges $70. The San Francisco SPCA charges $100. I'm sure you could arrange a payment plan if that is too much, or just start saving $10 every week for the next couple of months. You should never spay a female while they are in heat, because of blood loss. Just be sure she is in your sight at all times when she's not indoors, to prevent accidental breeding.
