I was asked to a do a portrait of two big cats. Ok, no problem. I expected two Allen and Harry type cats.
It is my biggest drawing yet. Not only in actual size, but also because I covered the whole paper. with detail throughout the whole thing.

This is a test to see if my colors are right. To see if your colors have true depth, you need to turn it into black and white. I forgot to do that test until after I proclaimed it complete :) I usually do the test as I go along and modify my colors to get true depth.

Unfortunately the colors photographed badly. Anyone with Photoshop willing to help me?
This is what the grass & background actually looks like in real life

But that makes the lions look red. So I edited the photo to get the lions to the right color (which makes the grass look like Crayola green)

I just can't seem to figure out how to edit the photo so that the grass is the right green and the kions the right yellow. I tried cutting the photo out and laying it over the other.... ooooo was that bad!
Anyhow, I just had to share my newest drawing with you. I never expected this type of big cat! :D
