This is the first time we have owned a female dog that didn't get fixed before the first heat cycle. Lou Lou is 8 months old and we did have her scheduled to get fixed at the end of July, but after reading everyones post, we will be talking to the vet. She is is heat, her second week, she does leak sometimes but my main question is, when I was rubbibing her belly, I noticed her "girly parts" are enlarged, this is normal, right? After reading the post, I had to laugh, because I didn't really think of them being moody or anything, she must be going through the "I am going to eat everything in the house" part of PMS! She has been jumping up on the table, never done that before! Thanks for any help and I hope eveyone has a safe holiday weekend!
