Obsessive compulsive doggie?

I think Autumn might be obsessive compulsive about grazing. She stops in the middle of fetching a toy and starts grazing. We go to the dog park and she grazes more than she plays with other dogs. Every time we go outside she has to eat grass. I can chase her away from the grass and she wags her tail like we are playing and runs around me to snatch more grass when I'm not looking. Its driving me bonkers. How do I get it to stop? I don't think spraying the grass is a possibility because it gets mowed so often and I can't really bring some sort of spray to the dog park.

Have you talked to a vet? Some people think that this can be a symptom of an upset stomach. It could also be a nutritional deficiency; are you feeding decent food? Then again, she might just like the taste of it, or be OCD like you suggested. Stranger things have happened. :rolleyes:
