She is such a good girl.. a brave little soldier..

The vet said that she could most likely come home on Saturday.. she's being pumped full of antibiotics, and she's still eating and pooping fine...

So it looks like I'll at least still have my honeygirl.. :)

Makes the day just a wee bit brighter.. :)

That's great news about Sassy. Did the air control people get your house all cleaned up?:)

L-A, I'm so glad Sassy is going to be OK. Has your neighbor taken her dog to the vet yet?

L-A, I'm so glad to hear the great news about Sassy. I sure hope that someone makes your neighbor take her dog to the vet for treatment so there are no future problems.

.. but she just took offence to it, so we called each other a whole bunch of nasty names.. you know, getting real catty... so I told her that she had better take Flexx to the vet before he inadvertantly kills someone else's cat, and they might lay charges upon her including cruelty to animals because he just doesn't go to the vet..

She is such a ffffffffffffffffffffffff.. .ah, I'm not going to say it here.. you people are too nice.. ;)

Can't YOU report her? I mean, it's not fair to the dog to keep it like that and seeing that it's killed three cats already, who knows how many more could be affected!

So sorry your getting so much stress from this woman L-A. She sounds so nasty and obviously very uncaring.

I'm sorry to say but people like this girl really make me mad. If I only had a faint suspicion that my dog (or cat) caused the death of another pet I would be beside myself with grief and could never forgive myself. Not only but I would be very worried for my pet as well and I would RUSH him to the vet.

This person shows that she doesn't love her pets and does not even respect other people and her pets. I personally think that you are much better off without her.

She was getting her hydro cut off for non-payment, so I offered to foster her hamsters and mouse for her...

As soon as she handed me Tiny's (hamster) cage, I could tell right away she had wet-tail... She died 3 days later.. I told her it's caused by stress and filthy cages/surroundings, she didn't believe me (what-effing-ever.. I bred guinea pigs and rabbits for 13 years, I think I know..) She handed me Lucifer who I knew you could not touch, and you can't because he's so nasty, and Cookie the mouse, who she didn't even want.. so I said I'd take her..

Lucifer was the only one with a WATER BOTTLE, Tiny & Cookie had a bowl each that was covered in shavings in no time... Lucifer was in a mouse cage, and Cookie was in a plastic critter that had no air vent... so when Tiny died, I moved Luc into the hamster cage and Cookie in to the mouse cage.. I bought all new water bottles.. She had these shavings that were... let's just say 'Splinter City..'

I fed them, and you would swear they had never eat so well in their life... They wouldn't stop eating... She'd feed them cheerios ((rolls eyes))

So now Cookie is in the hamster cage (she came and got Luc, I told her to come get her rodent, she took offence to that stating that only rats are rodents.. ((rolls eyes)) ), which I am sending back to her once I get a NICE PROPER cage for her... one with lots of stuff to do.. :)

So we know that a) Her litter box is overflowing and she rarely changes it, b) Baby (the 13-year old cat) goes to the bathroom whereever she wants to, c) Her rodent cages are not clean, d) She admits to me her house is a pigsty, and e) She has an infected dog who eats solid for an hour then starves himself for 4 days...

... and she's in a dinky little 2 bedroom house that is smaller than my apartment... maybe I should call the Hamilton-Wentworth Humane Society...

Yes I think you should report her to someone. People like that don't deserve to keep animals.

OMG L-A!!!

**hugs**
I'm happy to hear that Sassy is ok, and that you got the air in your home cleaned. Do tell us about this puppy you're expecting in the fall!:)
As for this nasty woman...it sure sounds like her poor poor animals are not cared for, and I would be tempted to call animal control on her! These animals are living in bad conditions, and it's obvious that there's something wrong with the dog...so it would be better for everyone for animal control to look into it and possibly seize the animals!!!
We're all here for you, so do keep us posted!!

I'm so happy to hear the encouraging news about Sassy:) We'll continue to say prayers for sweet Sassy.

Please, for the sake of these suffering animals, do call the Humane Society or your local animal control officer! It sounds like someone should also call the Bd. of Health! I am not one to interfere in the manner in which others choose to live, EXCEPT if it means a life, human or 4 legged, is in peril. These animals are being abused!! Your post was heartbreaking. If you cannot find a mutual friend or perhaps another member of her family to interven, I would strongly encourage you to make a call. Poor little hammie:( Bless you sweet Tiny.

.. You could manipulate her anyway you wanted to... you should stick her in your pocket and walk around, she's peek out and fall asleep peeking out... :)

I get the long distance block removed from my phone tomorrow and I will call the Humane Society...

Stupid ... argh, I'm not going to say it.. .. :)
