Cute Kitten by day... Deadly toilet paper shredder by night...

EVERY NIGHT. Every single night!!! I will wake up the next morning... and a nice fluffy carpet of toilet paper greets me on the bathroom floor in the morning. I have tried everything I can think of - moving the roll to different locations, turning it so the loose end isn't sticking down or waving around to attract his attention. I can't close the bathroom door since his litterbox is in the closet! And if I move it from the bathroom closet, the dogs get into it... its a no-win situation, and I am sick of having to make nearly daily trips to Walmart for a new supply of TP!

Time to start a new routine. As you're just about to hop into bed, go retreive the roll of toilet paper currently in use, and put it in your dresser drawer. Remember to grab it in the morning to reinstall for morning use, but if it's shut where he cannot get at it, he cannot shred it! Other alternative is getting a tin to shut it in at night that you can leave in the bathroom ...

desperate times call for desperate, and extreme, measures I suppose!!

Still working on getting the thing for his neuter, though apparently it is only valid at an Arkansas shelter and its about an hour away? :(

:) Oh yes I went thru that with my Buttons.. Then after she was bored with toilet paper she went for the scott towls..

Amy went through that also but with the paper towels or any paper she could get a hold to. Imagine getting up to find the whole roll of paper towels shredded. :rolleyes: Thank goodness, she outgrew that!

(I had a dog that use to do to TP thing and I was amazed at how much area a half a roll of TP could cover! She did that when left at home alone and got bored.)
