Pretty much a pointless thread, butI just had to share how excited I am. The next few weeks are going to be great.
Visa and I are leaving Satruday night or early Sunday morning to take our long 10-12 hour trip to Edmonton. I'll be sure to take TONS of pictures of the Belgians there, especially Visa's brother (her litter brother who I've never met) and her boyfriend. She will be staying there for a week, and then the next weekend Marla will go and pick her up (I'm not going that time).
Then the weekend after that, we have our show in Lavington! I was all upset because I was told that it was too late to enter (I'm the WORST for entering late), but then we figured out that we could still enter, so we are competing on the Sunday. :) The best part is, Visa and I will be competing against Jaguar and Marla. That will be interesting, but I'm pretty sure that Jag is going to give us a point. ;) We didn't enter in time for the agility trial, so Visa may not be in a "show mood." I'll try and stick around the agility as much as possible so that she thinks she's there for agility lol. If she knows she's there to show, she'll be a freak and I'll have to pull her. After being sent off with an abusive handler last year she hates show/obedience type settings (but LOVES agility -- that is the key to making her like shows again!). She just needs six more points to finish her championship. She got a Group 4th last year, and at the last sanction match took a Group 3rd and a Group 2nd so I'm hoping she will atleast get a group placing (Best in Group is a longshot, but wouldn't that be awesome?!).
So I bought Visa tons of food to make her lots of raw meals for her "vacation" and I got her shark cartilage so that the puppies' joints will be nice and healthy. I started her on Wormex the other day and will continue with that until Sunday so that she is completely free of worms before being pregnant. I'm going to go to Nature's Fare and pick up some more stuff.
And on top of all that, we got our CGN certificate in the mail today! :D One more thing to add to our wall of achievements!
I'm sooooo excited. My puppy is going to be the healthiest, happiest, most well-socialised puppy in the whooole world. :p
