I haven't gone in a long time, but i still voted yes and I eat the fish that I catch. However if the fish is too small then I will toss it back.

I have but I don't now because I didn't enjoy it really and I figure why put the fish through all that stress just to throw them back especially if I don't even enjoy it.

I have fished before and just returned the fish. I personally don't think it's cruel in anyway.

Yes, I fish.

If the fish are a legal size to keep - I keep and eat and/or feed them to the dogs. Otherwise, they are thrown back. It doesn't cause much harm to the fish as long as it isn't hooked weird or it completely swallows the hook.

I do in the summer when I go to Saskatchewan. We eat all of the fish we catch unless they're really small/young, then we return them to the lake.

I fish occasionally. I do think it is cruel for the fish though.

I couldn't vote. If the fish is big enough, we keep it. If not, we return it. I haven't gone fishing in a long time, just because you have to have a license and I've never been a big enough fisherman to warrant paying for a license. If I really allow myself to think about it, I don't see it being a lot different than hunting deer. But, then, I don't really have an issue with hunting deer if it's eaten. Blech, again...I'm all over the place.

My choice isn't there.

I don't fish (haven't in a very long time) but I don't think it's cruel.

Growing up in Alaska, with fishing being one of the top outdoor activities up there, heck yea I fish. Love to. There's nothing better than sitting on the ocean/lake on a warm summers day with a friend and fishing for salmon.... And yes, I eat what I catch.... Mmmmmm Salmon

i don't think it is extremely cruel to fish. most all the men in my family do so it is no biggie. i feel sorry for the fish but still. I don't like commercial fishing. I think that is cruel. they catch and kill all kinds of animals other than the fish. i have never caught anything good enough to eat but i voted yes anyway because if a fish is caught here we eat it. sometimes we return them if we have to but most of the time we keep them. :)

I go fishing, only a few times a summer though. I don't usually catch anything big enough to eat, so I throw them back.
