Brush suggestions

Molli gets matts after awhile, even though I spend a significant amount of time brushing her daily. Anyone have suggestions for what kind of brush would be best for her hair? It's not exactly curly... more crimped.

it sounds like she needs a rake comb..

Even though Molli does not have an undercoat? Poodles have pretty thin hair compared to other dogs. Sounds like a good brush for Sam though!

I would use a slicker brush and follow up with a metal comb.

Exactly what Shelteez2 said. You should use a slicker brush because it gets right down into the coat and a metal comb just to go through after to get what the brush didnt get.. I'll PM you. :)

Thank you for the suggestions, and thanks for the pm Muddy4paws. I do have a slicker brush, but it was my RB Missy's brush, and I always feel sad using on my dogs. So I will probably get a new one, and if I can't find a comb, then I will buy when on those. Thanks again!

Thats ok! :) That brush would be fine too and you need to find a comb before she gets too long! :p maybe the groomers you take her to will sell them? The shop we work at we offer a selection of brushes and combs for customers who want to groom at home :)
