I just took these and thought they were cute.

I love this one of Scout because it shows her marble markings (and her saggy belly :o ).

Oh poor Scout, your meowmie is picking fun of your little belly pouch. I love it, you are so adorable.

Jazz your meowmie takes some of the best photos of you. I have found that black cats can be hard to photograph but with Jazz as the subject no picture could be bad.

Scout has the same amazing coloring as my Lucas. But Jazz is more brilliant a black than any one! :D Just fantastic!

That is a lovely picture of Scout. Her coloring is so striking and I just love the marble markings.

Oh Jazz, I just want to reach through the screen and pet that gorgeous black fur of yours. That picture is so cute. :)

Thank you for the nice comments.

Jen - I think Scout and Lucas have similar shaped faces as well.

How did Scout get her name?

How did Scout get her name?
We were having a hard time thinking of a name, the shelter called her Goldie, so I looked on a website of cat names and saw it. It was between Rio and Scout but Scout won out. It's probably for the best because we have so many R named cats now.

I've already gone on record that if and when I get another dog it will be called Ranger (for a male).

Ahem....Edwina...speaking on behalf of cats everywhere....would like to point out that the pouch is an important connection to their wild cousins....who sometimes need to store extra food between hunts.

She beleives it should be worn proudly as a sign of feline solidarity!

Tabitha and Sasha agree with what Edwina said about the pouches. They wear theirs proudly.... and theirs doesn't seem to bother them near as much as their Meowmies "pouch" bothers her!

Great pictures of your babies! Thanks for sharing!
