Help with Kirk's (AKC) registered name

I need help choosing Kirk's registered name. (See Kirk here (http://www.petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=105985).) There is not kennel name that needs to be included. My only ideas so far are to include his name, as well as Highland or Highlands. This applies because it is part of name of our community association/neighborhood (LOL) and also has some relation to the origins of the border collie breed.

I tried to play around with possible longer names for which Kirk could be a nickname...and all I came up with was Kirkwood or Kirkland. I don't particularly care for either of those, so I probably just want Kirk to stand alone as part of the name.

AKC Rules Reminder: "Name choices are limited to thirty (30) letters. Spaces between words, apostrophes and hyphens are counted."

I think Kirk is a cutie and I really like the way it looks like he has a heart on his forehead so here are a couple of ideas for you.

I think putting heart in the name would be cool. :)

Ohh, great suggestions! I was sort of avoiding names having to do with that heart because I'm almost 100% sure it will not be prominent once his full coat grows in. However, the names you suggested are perfect since they have more to do with his dashing good looks, LOL!

I agree, flash or blaze in the name would fit. Sorry, not good with register names. Kirk is adorable btw!

Oopsie, I thought I had replied to this thread. Gosh, I love all the ideas!! :) I will probably procrastinate until the last minute with the paperwork, but I will let you know when I do finally pick a name. I keep thinking more of his personality will emerge as he grows up...
