I've been wanting a canon elph for quite some time now and I finally got it! I got the canon sd450. Mainly it was the size that sold me, I love my canon A80 but it doesn't fit well in my pocket and I don't like having to carry a purse with me just so I can carry a camera. I didn't get to fiddle around with it too much because I killed the battery just I was finally getting the hang of it! I have it charging right now but I also ordered a second battery so I should have that in soon. I'm really excited about taking this camera on my trip to London!
This is Rory Alexa's goldfish.

I'm still trying to work on getting used to this camera and understanding all the features. But so far I'm happy with it.

I realized that I left that out and then went back to edit it! I got the canon sd450. It's the oldest and cheapest of the elphs that they are currently selling, but it was all I could afford. I however LOVE that it is half the size of my A80.
Edit: Just in case you are interested I ordered it from dell and it was on sale. Then I also had a $25 off coupon code so I ended up paying $216 which I thought was a great deal!

It is very similar to the casio I just got my daughter...I know canon is better. I may get this one for me...it is 269.00 at costco.com
Do you mind me asking who you ordered it from?
The pictures are really nice.
edit...okay I see from dell...thanks...

I'm having so much fun with this camera! One of my favorite features is that you can choose a color for the camera to focus on and then everything else is in black and white. I can do this on photoshop, but it's so much easier to do right from the camera.
I know, the coffee pot is dirty!

And one more of Tibby.

Yay! New camera!! :D
I love how those pictures turned out, they're so good! And I love the feature where you can choose just one color to focus on, that is awesome.
You're making me want a new camera even more! :o

It seems you're already getting the hang of your new camera - love the pictures! :) I must admit, I don't know half the features on mine (Olympus).
I couldn't help but try to get rid of some of the shadow on this - what a sweet boy!
