It's kitten season...

I take the bus into work everyday. This morning there was a girl in her early 20's with a cardboard carrier. We got to talking and I asked her if I could take a peak. She works at a veterinary hospital and she said someone dumped off this kitten and her 6 siblings. Inside was THE most beautiful 5 week old Meezer mix (Siamese). I melted!!! She told me someone also dumped off another box of kittens yesterday and they are bottle feeding a total of 5 litters of kittens at the hospital!!! :mad: Why or why don't people get it?? :confused: :confused: Spay = no kittens, no spay = THOUSANDS of kittens!!! :mad:

Anyway, she said she's keeping her. I thanked her for the most pleasant ride I've had in a long time and wished her well. I also asked her if they were hiring. :p

No time soon!!!! I had bee PLANNING on adopting Pumpkin, as you WELL know. But it wasn't meant to be. So I'm sticking with my four, that is unless a true emergency comes up. Then all bets are off. :D

The Sad Thing Is That People Have Thier Priorities Screwed Up.
They Care More For Their Tv Sets, And Cars Than They Do For Thier Companions.
They Are Not Evil, Just Stupid And Indifferent.
I Hope That Someone Helps Those Kittens.

I've come to the conclusion that my cats are my family, so resent when people a. don't take care of their cats and b. make rude noises about how many I have. I could make rude noises about people with half a dozen children that they don't take care of and have bad manners, but I don't (at least not in their hearing. :p )
