Ohio/Michigan Trip Pics - Part 1

Okay, here are the pictures and "tails" from our Ohio/Michigan trip.

We left FL on Wednesday, May 17th - around 2pm. Arrived in Ohio the next day at around 9 am.
We weren't allowed to check in our campground until 3pm, so we drove around to many state parks in the area. We ran into some nasty weather. When we finally arrive to our campground, the site we were given was under water! They gave us a list to chose a new site, so we did. The campground was very nice. We had few neighbors, because of the weather/timing, but the neighbors we did have loved Kiara!

The campground also had a doggie beach which Kiara and I took full advantage of. There were even dog poop bag stations around the park - so dog friendly!


Anywho.. a lot of our days were spent by water - no matter how cold or how hot. Ki swam and swam! I will continue the tails as I go thru pictures in the next few posts. Be sure to check out the other threads as well...

Back at our campgrounds, they had paddle boats you could rent. Ki went out with us. People on shore, as we went past, were asking about her and making comments about her =)

Yes Sue, I am so very lucky. Katie is one of the most snuggable doggies ever. Even though the brat wouldn't give me a kiss! :p

I'm glad everyone's enjoying the pictures...

I can't get back into my normal routine.. it's going to suck going back to work!

Wonderful photos, Kay. Looks like you and Ki had a great time! I love the second photo....looks like it should be an ad for frisbee's or something. I love how she is up there with the frisbee and there is a field behind her that blurs out....very nice.

To be honest, we didn't look that hard. The areas we let her swim, we'd look for a sign but none were posted in those areas, so we just let her. Worse comes to worse, if someone said something to us we could blame it on us being tourists, dry her off, and head on to another place. :p
