Just wondering how often everyone visits the vet?

We go once a year.

EDIT: If you go more than 4 times a year than just vote that and post about how many times. :)

I'm at the vet often, in fact Buster has an appointment in a couple hours.

Depends! Marta usually has to go in a few times because of something, Adele is barely ever sick and only goes in once a year, Vallis has had to go in a few times already and we've only had him 2 months! Seine has been in twice this last year, once for her shots, once to get spayed...

If they are completely healthy, at least once per year, but something usually happens and they need to go more often.

I go a minimum of 10 times a year but that's simply because I have 10 pets.

We go whenever we need to with Sasha (border collie cross - 12 years old). With Sebastian my 5 year old ferret, if the latest lupron shot does what it is supposed to then we will be seeing the vet once a month, rather than every 2 months.

Each dog goes once a year - unless something comes up and they get sick, hurt, ect. Knock on wood, that hasn't happened yet. They get their annual booster shots and then any updated shots they need, rabies, ect....

Minimally once a month, but that's if everything goes smoothly. More often it's at least 2x a month with a middle of the night emergency call about 4 times a year. I've already been once this week with two dogs and I'll be back on Friday.

We go twice a year. But thats only because Jack and Kyra go in the spring, and the rest go in the fall for thier annual check up and shots. Usually thats all the time we spend at the vets, but this last year we had to go a couple more times because things with Shadow and Micki kept popping up.

none of the above. we only take them to the vet if needed which is rare, Misty is 3 years old and had not been to the vet since she was 16 weeks old. Blairs last visit was when he was fixed. Happys last visit was a few months ago, she she is usually there about once a year for the simple reason of injurys, she has a tendancy to get herself injured. Perky has not been since we adopted her almost 6 years ago, Ripley has not been since he was fixed at 8 months old, he is 5 years old in a couple days.

i voted 4 times a year, but i actually take them more. i take all my rescues, permanent dogs, and some dogs that aren't even mine to the vet. i go about 20 times a year, easily. :o

once on a good year but usually 2. This past year he went twice about his anal glands and almost had to have them removed, and for his anual check up. Other years he sprained his tail and (unrelated) the vet wanted him to come in right after a seizure for a blood test to see what was causing it. (Mild form of epilepsy, it turns out)

Before the raw diet - dozens of times a year, easily. Especially when I worked at a vet, I would take them in for any little thing since I had a 50% discount on the bills.

After the raw diet - I'm predicting once a year, since they have only gone for routine things (vaccines, which I have since stopped) since starting the diet almost 6 months ago. Mandy and Nova were "problem children", always at the vet, but not anymore!

We're going this afternoon. We think she has allergies but don't know for sure. I think she is okay though. Just a checkup. That raw diet seems to have a lot of good effects on dogs. I hear a lot of good things about it. :D

Depends. If the dogs are sick, then they go to the vet. Otherwise they go for their nessacery check ups and shots.

Less than once a year, just for emergencies, or illness. Miss Hoppy is pretty healthy, trims her own nails, and bites vets and vet assistants, so it is better for everyone concerned this way.

Usually not even once a year, for shots. I do go to the vet without Finn to get his flea spray and heartgard, but, other than that, only if he were to get hurt or sick.

I voted for 4, though its usually way more.
Aside from taking the dogs there to get their shots, we have to take Frisk & Ethan there to get their nails clipped every so often.
The cats only go once a year, though. Just for shots.
None of the other animals go unless its an emergency. The only non-canine, non-feline that has been to the vet this year was Otto(one of the rats) to get an abcess removed.

I voted once a year, probably less than that. I don't really take the cats unless they were to get sick or something like that, which hasn't actually happened yet. Roscoe has been there twice since we got him (about 1 year) - the first time just to check him out as soon as we got him, and the second time because he had a cut/mark on him that looked like it was infected. I have been really lucky with my pets, as they never get sick (aside from the occasional hair ball).

Around 3 times a year, sometimes more. We usually take them to get dipped and bathed, and their nails clipped around once a year. Then again for any shots they might need. If they get sick or hurt we take them in, which happens at least once a year.
