What Breed of Dog are You at Work? (http://www.emode.com/jumpto?test=dogatworkogt)

I'm a Pug! *laughs* :)

Being a Pug means that you are fairly easy going and don't need to be the top dog all the time. While others are posing and posturing, you're more likely to be taking notes and showing them all up with your new take on the subject.

Alyson, your breed of dog at work is a German Shepherd

You're highly competitive when it comes to the workplace, though you don't always let people know it. You tend to voice your opinions only when they're well thought out, and that helps you out when it comes to inter-office dynamics.

I am a Golden Retriever

You help keep the workplace in balance with your ability to work with various people and diffuse potentially explosive situations.

Not so sure about that, I like to work with people I know, and I like stability. I am not sure if I "diffuse potentially explosive situations", or rather just take them as they come.

I got this description in an email:

As a Retriever, you are the golden child at work. Your balance of personable charm and diplomatic problem-solving makes you an asset to any organization.

This sounds closer, I think

As a Beagle, you are eager to learn and take on new experiences at work. You show up to meetings with a friendly approach and plenty of suggestions for the agenda at hand.

I'm a German Shepherd too!

I really wanted to be a GOLDEN RETRIEVER but once I read the German Shepherd report, I guess I can't argue with it to much. Actually it's really pretty close to accurate. It's scary! :p

You're highly competitive when it comes to the workplace, though you don't always let people know it. You tend to voice your opinions only when they're well thought out, and that helps you out when it comes to inter-office dynamics.

As a German Shepherd, your competitive edge drives you at work. You're not one to sit back and let others get the good assignments or take sole credit for projects you've had a hand in as well. This doesn't necessarily mean you'll intimidate people by curling your lip and snarling. It just means you're not afraid to speak up and stand your ground, especially if the right people are in the room. You love a good challenge and you're not afraid to mark your territory. Ultimately, you want to show that you're top dog, or at least have significant ideas worthy of significant praise.

Thanks so much. :o

We make our own costumes. :D

Some costumes... like the Stormtrooper armor or the Fett armor comes in a kit, that needs to be put together, trimmed, and/or painted.

Depends on the level of accuracy you want to go for. :D

You like coming up with innovative solutions to problems — new and old — at work. While others concern themselves more with office politics, you're likely to be more focused on better ways to get the job done.

I have really changed I guess....LOL

Seriously though I wonder if it's me that has changed or if it is because some of the people are different at work that made me answer differently than I did a couple years ago.
