Crayola & Kaige Walked With Us! [10]

this is not too exciting or the like thread. :p but lvdogs/sue & I went to JDRF (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=101082) (juvenile diabetes research foundation) walk (to cure diabetes) last weekend at RIT (rochester institute of technology) and our dogs (crayola, kaige and his friend, sumo) walked with us! thrilled that there was pretty many dogs there. I thought I'd share pictures with you.. one of pet talk's rules, right? ;)

um, we walked total six miles, (two loops around RIT, jogged at last mile) - first loop was pretty windy, second was rainy but we had a good time anyway! I had to laugh at kaige's wiggly-wiggbutt, weaving side to side at walk - too cute! crayola was pretty mellow after, tired and pooped out at home! I can't wait until we all meet you and you meet those two handsome birthday fuzzboys! :D pictures to follow.. sorry, not much.

what a great day for a great cause! Crayola and Kaige are so so stunning! listen you guys...this year is bad for me but please remind me next time there's a PT reunion in Ohio! John and I decided that we would drive over with Mz K-lo. Not meeting your crews in person-and hoomans- is making me feel so left out of the loop. you guys always have such fun.

thank you everyone. it was fun as I, especially crayola & kaige love any season. :) and watching them soo happy meeting other dogs.

seems there was a lot of walks.. crayola walked for relay of life (cancer foundation) almost two years ago - we hope to do it again!

I raised about half of my goal, which was $1000 (500 online & 500 in person). But I did get quite a few more walkers to join this year, which was a lot better because they raised money too!

Wow that's a lot that you raised! Great job! And how good of you getting all those other people to walk - in reality you probably went well over your goal because of the others that you got. Sounds like everyone had a good time ;)
