Well, if I had to choose between the four, a standard poodle would win. Not the fugly haircut though. They are big and energetic and bouncy. I'm not too big on the herding breeds or on retrievers, even though I have Autumn.

Not in particular. They aren't the most common in the U.S. but I wouldn't call them rare. They are getting more popular since the AKC registered them.
