Sandra's (tatsxxx11) Mr. B is now at the Rainbow Bridge

Friends, I just received an email from Sandra (tatsxxx11).
Her sweet Mr. B is now at the Rainbow Bridge.
He took a turn for the worse yesterday but rallied. When they got to the vets to bring him home, well, he died in her arms.

No one could have done more for him than she and her husband did or loved him more.

Sandra, my heart breaks for you. I feel like I lost one of my own.
We are here for you sweetie. Don't forget that.

Mr. B. my sweet friend, I'll never forget you. It was an honor to get to know you and, yes love you too. Be at peace sweet one. I look forward to meeting you someday.

Sandra, I'm struggling for the right words to say at this difficult time. I share your pain and I wish I could wave a magic wand and take it all away. Mr. B was so very lucky to have a loving Meowmie like you. He died in your loving arms....just the way he wanted it. Now, God has his arms wrapped around the RB and Mr. B.....just the way He wants it.

RIP Mr. B. Speckles will be there to greet you and show you around. When you get settled in, please send some soft purrs to your Meowmie so she knows you are OK.

I am so sorry to learn of your loss, Sandra, and I can only say that Mr. B passed in the best way possible and that was within your arms. I have always insisted on being witness with voice and touch when I have had to send my pets to the Rainbow Bridge. I think it helps both pet and guardian deal with the transition. I keep hoping and praying that Zipper and Mr. B walked across that bridge together to Heaven, Sandra. I hope it is ok to believe that. Perhaps Zip waited for Buddy to join him so they could go together and Cody and Murphy were right there waiting for them to come.

I too find it so significant that B. had fought hard and long for you, and when he could fight no more, he could do one last thing and that was to see and to say good-bye to his mommy. When he was once more in your arms, he felt safe and ready to make his final journey. This is so sad yet such a testament to the bond you and he had. I am sure that holding him as he passed to the RB must have been one of the hardest things you have done - I pray that in time you find comfort in knowing that he passed to the RB feeling safe and loved in your arms.
