There is a gorgeous tuxedo female kitten (maybe a year old) who needs a home! She is tame (not lap tame, but you can pet her tame) and would make a lovely pet! I live in Irving, right next to the big DFW Airport

There are 2 things with her right now though.

1. She is hurt. I have tried to contact local no kill shelter to take her but they are full right now. Not sure entirely what's wrong, she's favoring her right front leg, but I feel no break and she doesn't show any signs of pain when I touch it. She's also missing fur on her right side, but that'll grow back.

2. I think she's pregnant. If she is, it's within a month of being pregnant as the belly is just starting to show. It's either she's pregnant or she's starting to gain weight finally.

Fancy is a gorgeous cat. I have attached a couple of pictures of her if anyone is interested. I'd really like to find her a good home as she deserves it. I've worked with her for 8 months to get her tame and she's finally there. Her sister disappeared and with me living near the big airport and open fields, I'm afraid a snake may have gotten her. Fancy seemingly gets along with other cats as she socializes with her mother cat still.

If anyone is interested, send me a private message and I will give you more details.

Please let me know if you are interested in giving her the loving and safe home she so deserves.

Thanks! She looked "Fancy" with her little tuxedo, like she was dressed up ready to go. If I can't find her a home here, I'll try to locate more shelters that are no kill for her. She is a sweetheart of a kitten, very small still, and deserves a good home. Poor baby has been through so much in the Texas heat last summer. When she first came to my door, she was wild as could be. 8 months later, I can handle her and she'll meow at me to tell me all about her day. She's absolutely precious.

I grew up on a farm just outside Edmonton, I just noticed you were in Alberta! I live in Dallas now, moved here 8 years ago. Couldn't handle those cold winters. ;)

Darn it If she was just closer to IN I would know some one looking for someone like her. :(

Thanks! The poor baby is still here, I'll probably talk to my vet and see if he can at least examine her so I know the extent of her injuries and if they were man made or caused by an animal.

Unfortunately, Fancy has had the kittens already, so she will have to stay here for awhile. I'm keeping a close eye on her and I know where the kittens are, so I'll be watching for them also. I was hoping to have her somewhere before she had them, but I guess my placing her will be on hold until the kittens are old enough to be weaned.

Is there any way you can move Fancy and her babies to a safer place till they're old enough to be weaned?? I'd hate to have Fancy move them again to where you won't be able to find them.

Actually Fancy and the babies are in a pretty safe place right now. They're in the outside wall to my apartment, literally right outside my front door. They're too far back for me to reach them and I don't want to upset her and cause her to move them. She trusts me and lets me handle her (I've been trying to nurse some of her injuries). She'll never be a lap cat, but she is very affectionate. Her mother cat has a litter in the same spot, so they're taking turns nursing and sitting with the kittens. I'm just anxious for them to bring the kittens out, so I can start working with them, to tame them down.
