View Full Version : Rubber Duckie, you're the one!

I've been singing about rubber duckies all night -- it took me two hours just to ice this duckie, but its done! And I'm mighty proud of him! I had a very hard time with the icing -- it kept melting and getting droopy, and I think I have just as much icing on me as he does. ;) :p

I see soooo many bare spots and such, but I'm still proud of my duckie. Now, I won't admit to how many duckies never made it this far :D :p

 MY GOSH! That is the cutiest thing I ever saw! I have never seen one done like that and it is just to adoreable!! HOW in the world did you do that!!!?? Is there a cake pan like that or you had to cut it to shape? That is adoreable!!!

05-07-2006, 10:22 AM
I cheated! Its a cake pan we found on sale at Walmart - link to pan here (http://www.wilton.com/store/site/product.cfm?id=3E3191B0-475A-BAC0-571225977D75B8CB&fid=3E332B8A-475A-BAC0-5960302BFA2D34D7)

I cut up one of the mistake cakes this morning -- I just worry they aren;t cooked all the way through. Its a very thick cake. Thats actually a little more than one boxed cake (one box wasn't enough to completely form the second half of the body).
