Spring cleaning is in full swing.

I moved some stuf around the house and went to bed...

This morning Ed was no where to be found..

I looked high....I looked low....

Side to side and across...

ED IS NOWHERE TO BE SEEN...

The last place I look is the cat bed that was going to be donated to another cat that would appreciate it....

Sure enough....

After two years of ignoring the darn thing there is the Edster, sound asleep inside it.... :o  ;)

My Dear Mother would say that Ed was being a Cat in the Manger.

With cats I think the last place you would expect them to be should be the first place to look for them! :)

Silly Richard! Don't you know all cats are mind readers who then plan their actions accordingly? :D

Eddie said to tell you he was just waiting for it to age properly! Sheesh! "We will sleep in no cat bed before its time!*"

*Which, coincidentally is either one nanosecond after another cat claims it, or 5 minutes after the human decides to finally get rid of it.

That is exactly what I love about cats. You never know what they will be doing next.

Thanks to Tracey, mine have beautiful cat beds - but sometimes the dirty clothes pile is just too much for temptation.

Edster must be able to read your mind, Richard. Be careful, be very very careful :D

I read somewhere that says you should "recycle" your cat's things. You know, put them away for a while then bring them out again (with a little help from spray catnip) so they don't get bored with them. The Edster proved them right!!

Too funny, Karen. :D

Eddie, you're somethin' else. Always keeping your dad on his toes. :D
