Ok so the newest kitty (suposed to be moe but rissie doesn't like it so still trying to name him) uses the litter box but sometimes goes on the carpet. I hate that what can I do to get him to use it all the time. I clean it everyday and change it very often. I just need some advice please. Thank you

You just have to pick Moe up nad keep putting him into the Box,and moving his Little Paws around until he learns.
And Pray that he understands what you are doing and why.

I agree with what Gary said :) plus I always praised them by telling what good kitties they were when they were in litterbox training, and I still do tell them and they do seem to understand somehow :) and "knock on wood" they are both very good about going to the box .

JJJ3 says that Whiskas Temptations would be a Wonderful incentive for Moe to learn.
Ans as Abby and Buddyd Mom says Kind Words and Pats.
And Whiskas Temptations.

What helped me with the litterbox thing is having one cat who is picky! Remus has always been picky about using the litter box. I think he thinks going anyplace else is detestible. He really helped with training Spook and Pandora both. He was better at it than I was! He admonished them when they tried to go anywhere else and even chased them to the box!!! :D
I wish I could give you more helpful advice, but as I said, I wasn't the one who trained my kittes, Remus was lol.

You need one box for each cat. That's the rule of thumb when litterbox training. If he still goes on the carpet, you may have to have him checked for a medical problem known as a Urinary Tract Infection.
Once you've ruled out any medical problem, put kitty in a room by himself with the litterbox, food and water. He'll eventually get the idea.

It may help to leave a little piece of feces or unrine soaked litter in the box after you change it for a week or so. This way he can smell that that is where he goes to the bathroom.
