Amen to that! Splendiferous Peanut, you and Tubby are star material for sure! I woke up early (3am central time) with a nasty headache and hopped on line for some soothing, and saw lovely Peanut's face!

Awwwww.....it is always so nice to see "one of our own" as Cat of the Day!! Congratulations, Peanut. I don't think I ever knew of your early life and the tragic lost of your friend. :( I'm so glad your mama was there to take you in! I can certainly see why she wanted you so badly. You are just a beautiful girl, and certainly don't look or act your age!! My Maine Coon girl, Mimi, is the same age as you, well almost! She'll be 13 in June.

Thanks everyone for all the wonderful comments. I had no idea Peanut would be coming up so soon after Tubby, so yes, I guess they'll have to go on tour together. And of course there will be a discount on pawographs to Pet Talkers. :D Don't know if they'll have the same agent since they'll be doing different activities. Peanut will go for the beauty circuit and Tubby will go for the action circuit. :D

Tubby was up and at 'em quite a bit last night chasing her around, so she had already gotten extra treats this morning, from me and her dad, but now I'm sure she'll get even more. I might even open the tuna tonight for her. :rolleyes:

And here I was going to check out the COTD and then get some work done before I started checking out any of the posts for today. So much for that idea. :rolleyes: My boss will have to wait because Peanut is COTD!!!!:D

Thanks again, everyone. :D Yes, Peanut got extra smoochies last night...and tuna. :) Then she went to the back yard and had an autograph session for all the neighborhood cats. The nasty neighborhood cat didn't show up though, so Peanut didn't have to be interrupted by a mad licking session (on her legs which she does when she's stressed). Even had he shown up though, Tubby was playing the protective older brother and would have showed him to the edge of the property. :D

Tubby was even nice to her too. So she had a wonderful relaxing night. As is only right for a kitty honored with being COTD! :D
