This video is very sad, but worth the watch.

What an eye opening film! I believe that pet ownership should be a privilege not a right.

CHANGE THE LAWS NOW!! Make it MANDATORY that every animal who leaves the shelter is spayed/neutered. Also make it mandatory that before an adoption is processed, every potential adopter watch that film!!

Glad to see one of these videos not go just for shock value, but also work to inform and educate. I think it was pretty well done.

However, not to nit-pick, but in what states is the 'right' to own animals NOT revocable by court? If you are convicted of animal abuse, the courts can (and will) bar you from owning animals. It is for sure a system needing refined and much tighter control kept on it, but am I mistaken in assuming that all states have such laws? Every state I have lived in has had them.

I couldn't have said it better.

Very well done...and all so true. I've bookmarked it to send to those who just don't grasp the concept of altering pets. ;) Got to let Fluffy & Fifi have that one litter...or two, or three...

Wow, very powerful video. I cried my eyes out. All the animals got to me but the pitties especially. :( Had all those baby pit bulls been put to sleep? Gawd, why cant people just have their pets fixed? Its not a diffuclt thing to do. There are so many places that will help you with the cost if you dont have the money.

The picture of the vet or vet tech holding his head in his arms about did me in.

It was terribly sad for me to watch. I am crying as I type this. But thank you Sarah for showing that. People really need to watch this to prove that spaying and neutering is a good opiton.

What a heartbreaking video. I have to show this to my dad. I just about bawled my eyes out. Extremely powerful... thanks for sharing.

Glad you all "like" the video (for lack of better term). I thought it was really well put together too.

I was wondering about that too. I guess they're in a town where Pitties aren't allowed :(

I just wanted to bump this back up and keep it on the front page but those who really need to see it don't even come to places like Pet Talk and even if they see these, it has no effect on them anyway.

I took my former neighbor (my Samantha's former Mom) down to the shelter and SHOWED her the freezers they end up in and the dumpster they are put in on Fridays but she STILL didn't have Bridget fixed, let her have kittens, kept a kitten and dumped Bridget!

Wow. That's so sad. Why aren't people responsible for their animals! It's just terrible that people can let this happen to God's wonderful creatures. :(
