We had a storm this morning and lots of rain, so all cats and dogs were inside, and the birds didn't get their morning stretch when they were ready for it.

Finally, everyone went outside, and I opened the bird cages. For once, Milly didn't come outside. I wish you could have seen Roger peaking down through the top of her cage saying "Hey Birdy" and doing his manly "whistle" to her, and singing Zippity Do Dah over and over, trying to get her attention! LOL!!! Too cute!!!! She finally came out, and now they are wandering around together on the floor!!! :)

:D Who would have thought Zippity Doo Dah was a love song? Sounds like Roger's smitten with Milly for sure!;)

You just reminded me of something funny that I seen on tv last week. it was one of those shows that has home video disasters. It showed a cat eating with a little bird like yours saying ' here kitty kitty' over and over again. the cat didnt even bother that their was a bird sitting next to it.

It was so cute.

Oh Logan if I ever get a bird it will most definitely be a cockatiel. Your stories are so precious that I can picture them in my mind's eye. Roger sounds like he is trying to get Milly to get with the program around there. "Hey! Door's open we go out!! Get it?" :D I hope to hear some day that she is joining with him singing Zippity Doo Dah! :D

They really are treasures, and I never knew!! Milly seems to be coming around, slowly but surely, and that lover boy, Roger, just adores her, unless I'm holding her. I guess I'm still his #1 girlfriend because he gets very, very jealous and starts pecking at her feet if I am holding both of them at one time. :)
