Last night I had my faithfull cat Muskrat put to sleep. She had had surgery
last summer for a tumor and 3 days after I had brought her home I found a new tumor. Finally on Sunday night the cyst part of the tumor burst and
she started hiding on Monday. I knew then that the end was near, and it
came last night. It was a peacefull, quick death and I know that there is a
place in heaven for cats to go to so they can find someone who needs a cat. As a friend of mine told me she had a good life, but I had an even better one
because of her companionship. I just wanted to write this tribute to her
and am reaching out for some support, because even I though I have a
good support system I really can't talk to them at 1:30 in the morning.

Dearest Muskrat, may you rest in peace, and bring comfort to your human, at this most difficult time. {{{HUGS}}}

We are very sorry to hear about the Passing of Muskrat.
Our Companions passing is always very hard as the love between a Pet and Guardian is often closer than ones to Our Family.
Nugget and Diane Angels are hosting a big Party for Muskrat at the Mandarin Buffet before Muskrat joins the Pet Angel Army.
And Muskrat misses you so much, but he knows that its only temporary and he will see you again.
One Fine Day.

I usually do not go to Cat Memorials, for some reason, but something moved me to open yours. Maybe the name "Muskrat" reached me - it is so expressive and affectionate. I join you in your sorrow at the loss of a beloved companion. I do know how much pain there is in such a loss. I hope that you will move through the pain with as much ease and serenity as possible, and know that those here, even though they didn't know Muskrat personally, do join you in saying good-bye to a dear friend.

I am so sorry for your loss. Know that Muskrat had a great life and was obviously loved so very much! And Muskrat will play hard at the RB with many other PT babies. They will show Muskrat around, and Muskrat will watch over you and send you lots of luvins! RIP little one, and play hard!

Godspeed to the Rainbow Bridge, Muskrat.
This world was richer for having had you here, now you must sweeten the other side, waiting for your guardian to arrive.
One Fine Day.

I am so sorry to read about the passing of your beloved Muskrat. I have a female cat named Muskrat, also. She is FeLV+ and I know from experience (Meeshe was FeLV+ and now RB) that it will take its toll eventually. I treasure every day with her, and to you and yours I extend my condolences on your precious loss. :(
