Jasmine, you are such a beautiful silver tabby! Such a contented look on that face. You must have just gotten out of someone's lap.

Have a lovely COTD and I hope you gets lots of headbutts!

Great looking tabby, and a loving one, too. A homeless kitty that got a chance. Congratulations.

It would be fun to be lying in the warm sun atop a grassy hill with Jasmine stretched out beside me. Of course, I could not resist the temptation to roll her over and rub her tummy, and then I would give her the tiniest shove and she would start to roll. She would keep rolling, faster and faster, ears and tail spinning like pinwheels, until she got to the bottom of the hill. Then, dizzily, she would rise shakily to her feet, stumble around a bit, catch her bearings and then come bounding back up the hill so that I could send her rolling down it again.

This would go on and on all day long and by the end of the day, the exercise would have caused her to lose weight and she would be a skinny, not a full-figured kitty, and I would not be able to roll her down the hill anymore.

This would make both me and her sad and so she would go home and start gorging again, so that one day she could again be a fat cat and I could roll her back down the hill, just as we had done before.

Too funny Frostfrog - I must wonder
"Would Jasmine truly put up with rolling?"
Somehow, I also get the feeling she would,
as long as head rubs and belly tickles were part of the package!

Congrats, Jasmine - cyber-rub on your full-figured belly! :D

Oh, my! I thought I was seeing a picture of my gray tabby Macy who is also nine years old and a shelter rescue! Jasmine, you are so beautiful with your soft gray fur and bright eyes. You sound like a very lovey girl who craves love and attention from your family. And you do deserve all the love and attention you get because you are such a great cat! Keep working on Tubby and maybe one day he will be more receptive to your kindness. Jasmine, I hope you have many more years of health and happiness with the family who loves you so much.

My first impression of Jasmine's pic. was that she was a total cuddle -bunny of a kitty. And sure enough, her owner said so....*purrr*....
