Any suggestions on how to get rid of fleas? does anyone use Bio-Spot? I need to know what to do and what to do first and so on?

I use Frontline. It is a monthly topical flea and tick medicine. If you plan on bathing your dog, you must wait 3 days before you apply Frontline. And if you have just applied Frontline, you must wait 3 days before you bathe your dog.

I use Frontline and also mix brewers yeast and garlic capsules with her food which is recommended by some natural remedies enthusiasts. This may not be more than "folk medicine" but Carina doesn't have fleas and the added pils can't hurt her. On the contrary, the yeast supplement is good for her.
If you use Frontline or Advantage make sure you don't put a flea collar on the dog too.

I haven't heard anything about bio-spot except the dog variety is very dangerous for cats. I don't have a cat so wouldn't have to worry about that but I'm gonna wait til I do hear more about bio-spot before I try it.
I use advantage (on my dog). I often wait til it's too late and the fleas have arrived but advantage takes care of them right away.

We use Advantage. And put Brewer's Yeast on Louie's food. :D

I use advantage and it works great, I haven't seen a flea in years (knock on wood) and they used to eat my poor little maltese up. I used to say that he must have had some mighty swwet tasting blood. Ha!

We have only ever had problems one time with fleas (which was when we got Tobey) and we treated the dogs once with Frontline and we have never had a problem since. If anyone needs Frontline, let me know, we have some that we aren't using and I don't want it to go to waste. We got it off of Ebay and paid a lot less.
